My recent ICICI statements did not open... The google search led me to your page and Viola!!!!!! my problem is solved.

Would just like to add that instead of leaving my statements decrypted, I store them on a truecrypt folder (used to encrypt them with a common password, but that was too risky if someone got hold of that 1 password).

I have a script (linux ubuntu) that can traverse through a one or more folders (including all sub folders), find all encrypted pdfs and decrypt them, (or find all un encrypted pdfs and encrypt them with a common password). Feel free to drop me an email if you want the script

Re: Removing encryption from (legitimate!) From the package description:

Their services sucks and they are big time cheater. I have been using their so claimed high speed Tata Photon connection since last 3 months and it's just pathetic. The sales man promised of getting 3.1 mbps speed which i didn't believe and thought that even if i get 1 mbps that's more than enough for me, as per my requirement. However it never gave me more than 200 kbps speed. If you call customer service they make you feel like you are a dumb and these idiots are smarter than you. Even though you have done masters in computers and networking. After all they have got license of distributing broadband by bribing government so nothing surprising.

Re: Ongoing fraud at various Bangalore petrol stations

My name is Manjunath. Today morning, I went to this petrol bunk at Seeta Circle and asked the attendant to fill petrol for Rs. 500 and also gave him a 500 rupee note. I am sure he heard me clearly. That person showed me the note and tried to tell (advice) me not to accept 500 rupee notes of some particular alphabet, etc etc. He was trying to distract my attention. Meanwhile, the person who was supposed to fill petrol was asking me ...sir petrol or diesel. My car is a Ford Flair with 'Petrol' written clearly near the lid of the petrol tank ! He was also trying to distract me. After the meter started running, it suddenly stopped when it come to Rs.100. They were pretending that some thing went wrong and tried to reset the meter. But I stopped at that and demanded Rs. 400 back and left, but with feeling very bad that I was cheated so openly. I want to report this to the highest authority and also to Lokayukta, but I am not sure whom to approach . Some one please advice me. I want to put a permanent end to such practices and also see to it that this particular petrol bunk is shut down and the culprits brought to book.

Re: Region encoding printer cartridges

I have this ink and it has a code and I think this is the programming practice, code, chip, or physical barrier used to prevent the media designed for a device from the country where it is marketed on the version of the same device marketed in another country.
